You can buy an eSIM plan for someone else. There is no code to forward and no voucher to redeem: as soon as payment goes through, the eSIM appears in the recipient's Penyu account and the QR code goes to them.
- 01Pick the planChoose their destination and a suitable plan. If you know how long they are staying and how they use their phone, the data calculator makes the choice easy.
- 02Choose "Send as a gift"On the plan page, enter the recipient's e-mail address. You can add their name and a short note.
- 03You payThe gift goes into your cart like any other item and follows the normal checkout. The invoice is issued to you.
- 04The eSIM opens for themOnce payment is approved the line is created in their account and a notification e-mail goes to them. If they do not have an account yet, signing up with that same address puts the eSIM right there.
You can cover their top-ups too
Tick "I will cover future top-ups" on the gift screen and any data they add later is charged to your card. It exists for exactly one situation: you do not want someone abroad fumbling with a card.
Where the gifted eSIM shows up
- For you: under "My orders", together with the recipient details. It will not appear in your own eSIM list - the line is not yours.
- For them: in their eSIM list, with the QR code and remaining data.
- In their inbox: the installation link and QR code.
